If you love candles then owning a wick trimmer is a must!
Keep your wick trimmed to approx. 5-6mm before re-lighting your candle, this will help keep your candle looking and performing at it's best.
To clean your trimmer, wash in warm soapy water and dry well.

Trim your wick, each time before re-lighting your candle, when you do this, you will see an improved difference in the way your candles perform.
Keeping the wick trimmed helps control flame height, if your flame is too large, this can cause the candle to burn too hot which isn’t safe and may create black soot on the inside walls of the candle vessel. If your flame is too high, use your Wick Trimmers to trim off the excess wick (which might look like a ball or mushroom if it's never been trimmed before). You will notice that the flame has gone back to a normal and safe height staying inside your candle vessel now, rather than above it. This will also create a clean & even burn prolonging the life of your candle.
